Why is maintaining your pH level is important?

PH stand for the Power of Hydrogen. The number of pH shows the “balance” of Acid and Alkalinity. PH range is from 0 acidity to 14 maximum alkalinity. Our blood is usually between 7.35 to 7.45, and the pH balance plays an important role in the chemical makeup of the human body.

In the human body, the pH of bodily fluids, organs, and other components can have an influence on the biochemical reactions that support various functions, such as digestion, metabolism, and hormonal production. Keeping the body’s pH balanced allows the body to function in a state of equilibrium.

A pH balance is important in terms of health because having a stable pH is key to maintaining the body’s everyday functioning. It’s not something that comes up every day as the body is very good at maintaining a healthy pH balance on its own. However, when the intake of food consistently consists of improper diet such as fast foods, alcohols, and sodas, your body can struggle to maintain ideal pH. If pH of blood plasma is less than 7, it is highly acidic and can even cause a death.
The effects of low pH correlates to almost all health conditions such as heart disease, cancer, obesity, degenerative disease, and many more. So, needless to say, pH balance is very important. The ideal pH of the body is slightly alkaline, which facilitates certain biochemical reactions like oxygenating the blood.
Then, how can we balance pH? Eat healthy food. Recommended ratio of 75% alkaline and 25% acidic foods. Exercise. And drink plenty of healthy water.
